Noooooo.

Mom was going to stop somewhere before coming home from work, and get Dad a birthday present. But she called Dad (he's out with a friend), and now he wants her to pick him up, which basically flubbed the whole plan. Woman, he's lazy, of course he wants you to pick him up! XD;; Don't look at me like that. I can call him lazy, I'm just like him. ^^;

So I have to head over to Walgreen's and pick up a birthday card or two (depending on how much money I've got). I'm also checking to see if they have anymore Pegasus Starter Decks, mwahahahahaha. I do have a birthday coming up, after all. I've got less than two weeks to drop massive hints. I've got a bunch of books I want to buy, plus the deck, plus the Halo soundtrack I've been pining for at least a year. (All of which really aren't going anywhere anytime soon, of course...) I'll actually have an ANSWER when my parents ask me what I want! XD

Off I go.

The chain on my pendulum snapped! *cries as she tries to fix it* Oh, wait, I got it. ^^

Got two cards. One has a cat on it in a flower pot. On the inside it says "For your birthday, I grew you a cat." THAT CARD IS MINE. XDDD Dad doesn't like cats much (he's allergic), and he knows I love them, and that is such a me card, bwahaha.

EDIT: Ever tempted to respond to junk e-mail you get? I'm so tempted right now, mwahaha. There are these people who keep sending me junk, and they don't have that unsubscribe link anywhere in the e-mail. I'm so tempted to type up a nice, quick reply, even though I know it's probably not even a real person. ^^;;

I feel the need to stress that today isn't my birthday, but Dad's. ^_^; Mine is coming though, so thank you for the birthday wishes!

So.

Uncle Mike isn't doing well. Mom and Dad called and asked me to go across the street to his place, find his phone book, and wait for them to call. They're moving him to ICU, and cellphones can't be on in there.

Problem? I can't get in.

Mom told me where his set of keys were before I left, and I got them, and they wouldn't open the door. Locks clicked, doorknob turned, door didn't budge a fraction of an inch. And this was the one time the housekeeper wasn't there. She would've let me in. There's no one there. And his neighbor (who's also a friend of ours) isn't home, either--but then again, I didn't expect her to be. She travels a lot.

So I'm back here now. I left Mom and Dad messages on both their cellphones, so I'm waiting for calls. I have this feeling that I'm going to get chewed out. This sense of impending doom. But I stood at that door for damn near twenty minutes trying to open it. I left at one, and it only takes me about five minutes or so to walk over there, and I got back five minutes ago.

If I get yelled at, expect ranting later. -_-

EDIT: No ranting. Mom called, and I'm wondering if she's had trouble with the door before, because she immediately said "It's the locks." It could've been taken as a question or a statement, but sounded more like a statement. She had to go quickly again, but she said she's coming home, and she'll call back.

As for Uncle Mike, I have no idea. His son and Cousin Kathy are there, probably some others that Mom didn't get a chance to mention. I really hope he's okay, inappropriate jokes or not. -_- I was able to miss Aunt Rose's funeral because I had to house-sit for Mike, but if he goes, I have no excuse. It's not like I don't agree with paying final respects or anything. I just don't like to have the last memory of my family/friends be seeing them dead. And funerals are depressing. And I don't pay attention to the sermons. And just... stuff.

*sighs*

Uncle Mike's in a coma. And I didn't know this, but he's got Hepatitis. B or C, I'm not sure. For the longest time, according to Mom, it was C, but now they're saying B. He's got a bad liver (and has been eating a lot of shellfish and steak -_-). He smokes, that's probably playing a role too. And he's got some other thing that I can't even begin to spell, as I've already forgotten how it sounds.

*watching Half and Half* This little girl sounds like one of the munchkins from The Wizard of Oz. I swear, I've never felt such an urge to start singing "We represent the Lollipop Guild..."

Feeling a little better. Drawing.

Thanks for the hugs, everyone. I'm feeling a little better now, like I said before... we'll see what happens. I don't feel good about it, but we'll see. I gave Mom a big hug before she left for work--she's been feeling miserable today (my uncle's her oldest brother).

Still drawing. I need to make a new DeviantID (goodbye, CJ and Ryou plushie) and a new icon. I want a blinking one. And by blinking, I mean a character blinking. Everyone's making them and all, and it's basically jumping on a bandwagon, but they're cute and I want one. ^^; I should find an animation program and see about making one.
