Dead Zen

My ZVM's screwed up. Apparently Mom got one of the good ones, and I got one of the bad apples. I upgraded the firmware to see if it was the cause for all the skipping this thing does, and it's actually worse now. It froze up. It's now stuck on the Zen Vision:M screen. It's doing something, but it's being very slow about it.

So, it has to go back to J&R tomorrow. It's been less than a month (I got it on July 30th), so they should be able to just exchange it. Hopefully they don't give me a black one. A lot of people on Creative's forums with freezing issues on their players have black players, and besides that, the black ones scratch like mad.

This SUCKS, because this means I have to add all the music to a new player, and I have a good 25GB on their already.

I think I'll just let the battery drain on it. Someone said they let their battery go when they couldn't turn it off, and letting it do that and recharging it fixed it. ^^;
