Boss's "sense of humor."

Either he really is an ass, or my usual easily-amused self digs a hole to the center of the earth and dives in when he addresses me. Possibly a bit of both.

Like half the staff was out yesterday when we got our paystubs, so I put them aside. I forgot about them today, because I had mine already, and Earl and Joe forgot too (pretty much everyone except Alyce and Dennis forgets, as they're the only two without direct deposit and therefore get actual checks). The boss came over...

Boss: Christina, did the paystubs come yesterday?
Me: Oh, yeah, sorry. I forgot all about them.
Boss: Did I get one?
Me: ... Yeah. (I'm thinking: Um, duh.)
Boss: Oh, they sent one to me? That was nice of them. (And now I'm thinking: You're an asshole and your attempt at humor is horrible.)

And as a result of signing the sign-off sheet and seeing who had yet to sign for their stub:

Boss: Oh, but Earl's here. And Joseph's here. (Obviously trying to tell me, "They should've gotten their checks, why haven't they gotten their checks?", ignoring the fact that neither of them were at their desks at the moment. And now I'm thinking: I just said I forgot about the stubs. Go back to your office. I want my last ten minutes to be spent in peace.)

Whatever, I don't have to go back to that office until Tuesday, and I'm tempted to skip that, too.

Craig's taking his GED pre-test on Tuesday morning. It was going to be tomorrow morning, but Mom decided on Tuesday for some reason. The plan was for me to take him to the school, let him do his test, and then have Mom meet us, after which we'd go to the house. It could still be that, on Tuesday. (Well, except for the house bit. And the Mom meeting me bit.) She said I could show him the school, see if he's interested. She asked me what I thought about trying to get him into acting classes. XD She said the roleplay might do him good. He'd be better in a four-year school for that, but LaG can start him if need be. I know there's an acting class, maybe two.
