Usually there'll be a place in your school office where you can take tests for learning disabilities. Usually the policy is to get tested so that whatever disability is established, then the school goes from there. Maybe your professor will set aside some extra time for you, or maybe they have special tutoring. You may want to check that out. I wish I'd known about this before I went into the last math class I took, it would have been super helpful lol ;;
You may want to brush up on algebra if it's been a long time since you took it. The best method I've found is to find a site that gives you tests to take after giving you a review. That tends to sear the information into your brain better. I did not do this and totally regretted it :/
