Snaaaake, it's a snaaaaaake~

meitantei_cjGUESS WHAT. We totally had a snake in the car with us on the way to my uncle's place in the Bronx. All the way from PA. When we went out yesterday, Mom put the shopping cart out on the ground because we weren't going to need it, and this tiny snake must have crawled into it. And the shopping cart wasn't in the back of the car where we usually keep it, either, since we had tons of stuff for Uncle Arnie's new apartment. At any point, the thing could have climbed out and been all OVER that car. XD
He was cute, but very, very nervous at the lack of grass and dirt, and probably looking for predators; I'd opened up the cart and he fell out on the sidewalk, hehe.
Picture's small, so here he is. I took it on my cell phone camera, and I wouldn't get any closer than that. He was already hissing and glaring at Mom's leg whenever she walked past him. Seriously, she'd been trying to get him over to the tree and was trying to push him toward it with something, and he got pissed, so everything she passed his line of sight, his head would whip around in her direction. He actually snapped at her foot once. XD;; He'd finally gotten over to the tree when we came back downstairs. We wanted to take him someplace else, a park or something, but neither of us wanted to pick him up. ^^;
