I am not looking forward to being outside today. It's miserable, I'm going to get soaked, and I'm so exhausted... I just want to take a long nap after typing this up. I'd love to take the day off. I'll be good, though.

EDIT: Mom said I could just leave work a little early, go to the post office, and come straight home afterwards. ^________^ It hadn't entered my mind that I could do that. That is what I think I'll do. I've been good, I deserve a couple of hours. ^^;;;

Trains suck. An F train (Mom's friend Kenny, in fact) derailed, so other Fs are running on the A line. This may or may not affect my G service. And while I was on the phone with Mom, she said there was a power outage on the V line, and now there's no service on the V and Q, I believe... something about those two lines.

Rain. 9_9 I love rain, but I hate traveling in it.

Now, I should be dressed and nearly on my way out of here. ^^;;; Later.

Mom left the funniest message on my voicemail. It wasn't intended to be funny... Something went wrong with the recording, and the end result was her sounding like a man. I mean really like a man. Deep-voiced and everything. I just let her hear it for herself, and she erased it. XD;; I only called her and asked if she was the one who called me because I could barely make out "It's your mother" in all its mannish glory, mwahaha.

Will probably go back downtown tomorrow (when the wind isn't trying to slam me into buildings) to get Daddy's Christmas present. ^______^ After that, no more spending. (At least until next paycheck. I get paid three times this month! XD Art tuition and rent won't pack such a huge punch this time around.) I desperately want new manga, but I'll let it wait. I already had to spend a small fortune for the passport.

I've never made checks out before. I wasn't sure where to sign. I felt like such a n00b and would have asked, but I didn't exactly want to advertise that I'd brought my entire checkbook with me. XD; The clerk didn't say I'd done it wrong, though, and he put them through, so I guess it was okay...

I have a label number for the shipment, so as soon as I know that's on its way, Mom and I are going to look into airline reservations.

Food. Skipped lunch again... but this time I did it so I could leave earlier, so it's good. ^^
