I actually had to put the lining in my coat today, for the first time since one or two years ago... whenever the last time was that we went snowtubing. I couldn't move my arms. XD;; It was a coat inside a coat, and I had practically no range of motion.
djarch uploaded the eighth Detective Conan movie! And he said the quality's excellent! XDDDD *downloads NOW*
Sent out some cards today. Used practically all the stamps Mom gave me this morning. And hopefully two of them had enough postage and won't come back! ^^; They should be okay, though...
Mom and I had a talk yesterday while we were coming home... Somehow the topic was brought up about leaving the city. I told Mom that I love this city (and I do), but there are things about it that irk me to no end now, and it's even more obvious now that I've been going to the house practically every weekend for five or six years now, and if I could, I would move up to the house with Dad and Craig. I've been worried about how Mom would do, though. I pay a third of the rent, and our bills are pretty high... but Mom said she could handle things and that I shouldn't worry, that I should go if I want to. She'd drop the cable internet and maybe get DSL instead, she'd be paying for half as many cable boxes, she'd only be paying for one phone line, and she'd move to a two-bedroom apartment. That would cut costs quite a bit.
So, I've decided... as soon as I get back from England, I'm going to sit down and really study that driver's manual I have. I'll take the written test, do the road test, and hopefully pass. (That would be good in itself, since I'd be able to take the train to Port Jervis and drive the rest of the way home, or to Harriman and drive home, take the train back whenever Mom isn't coming back with me.) And I'll look for any job opportunities in Port Jervis or Middletown, or even where we are in PA. I'll fill out applications just in case.
And if this lousy state votes for Pataki again, I'm gone. XD;;;
