(no subject)

Seems my error may have to do with this. I've just turned the laptop off, though, and I'm not turning it back on. I'm getting something to drink and going to bed. I haven't installed Service Pack 2 yet, and it seems like I might have to. If it'll fix the problem, I'll do it. It's either that, or recreate the minidump file (if I read what I just saw correctly), and the service pack is the easier option.

Need to do my rebates tomorrow. Money coming to me, hopefully sooner rather than later.

This computer has a free trial of Microsoft Office. I got my copy from JD, and it's old--this one is the new one, but like I said, it's a trial. I shudder to think how much it'd cost for the actual program. (Although I'm sure it's not another Photoshop.) Still, Word 2003 sounds good to me. We have that at work, and it has a built-in thesaurus, encyclopedia, dictionary, and translation system.

I didn't touch my friends page for more than five minutes today, so I hope everyone's okay.

Okay, so I lied last night and turned the laptop back on. ^^; I think I fixed the problem. I restarted afterward and didn't get a single error message in the ten minutes that I left it on, and ten minutes was ample time for it to pop up something.

Mom and I are going out, because we'll go crazy if we have to be indoors all day, hehe. It's a little different at the house.

Staples has redeemed themselves.

Because they couldn't ship the computer when they were supposed to, they've given me a $50 coupon to use at any of their stores or over the phone (or online, I'm assuming). This will go toward a new printer/scanner/blah. I like the Lexmark X73 that I have, but the 6100 Mom and Dad have auto-aligns. Auto-alignment is godly. It's a standalone unit, too, so I won't have to turn the computer on just to copy something.

And, just because, it'll match my computer. XD;

Went over to Queens Center because I haven't seen it since they added the new building, was sorely annoyed that I had no money, but sort of glad in a way. They had a Sanrio store, and I wouldn't let myself get near it. The second I see anything Pochacco, I'll have a fit.

Got a corkboard to hang on my wall (2' x 3'), and two black ink cartridges for the X73, so I can print people's artwork out and hang it up. I've wanted to for the longest time, but don't want tape or holes all over the walls. I can hang this thing up and never have to worry about peeling paint off with tape and holes due to thumbtacks.

All I need now is a small CD rack. And a lot of CD cases, or a spindle, but I can get a spindle from Craig's room... think we have some spare ones laying around.

Glad we stayed here this weekend, we never go anywhere in the city or New Jersey anymore. It was nice to go somewhere without going through it.
