OH MY GOD, they have an African leopard cub on the news! *_______* A leopard and a tiger cub walking around... they're so cute...

Was going to upload something to Boxtorrents (the Space Channel 5 soundtracks, minus the remix albums), but someone got denied permission to upload because they wanted to upload the Devil May Cry III OST, and a mod said it's not anime and can't be uploaded.

1. The category is OST, not Anime OST. Change the graphic to reflect that. That's why you have people requesting uploads for game stuff.

2. How many Final Fantasy OSTs are up on that site? Both Black Mages CDs, practically every OST ever released.

Granted, they say in the FAQ that no game OSTs can be uploaded without special permissions... but what kind of permissions did they get? There's one actual anime FF OST torrent up there. The rest are all game-related. Which one is it?

That's bull... but oh well. I waited specifically until now, when the CDs I was going to put up aren't being produced anymore and will be much harder to get. GameMusic.com has them listed as obsolete, AnimeNation doesn't even list them anymore. They're probably still available from some website in Asia, but not for long. I'm going to rip them anyway... but I finally have something to contribute and can't. ^^; Maybe I'll find another tracker to put them up on, since Box is so stingy.

AND, a mod (one that seems like an ass) put these rules in the forum:

"anime is officially described as: A style of animation developed in Japan, characterized by stylized colorful art, futuristic settings, violence, and/or sex.

the key word here is Japan.

if its not from Japan, don't ask to upload it."

... So what is Demon Diary doing up there? That's from Korea. I have that entire series and know so. The uploader even said while requesting the ability to upload it that it's Korean, and that same mod granted access.

You know if I complained they'd ban my ass or something. ¬_¬

Today XD

Okay, reminder to self: Getting to Times Square from Nevins Street does NOT require 45 minutes of travel time. ^^; I got to Virgin Megastore at noon when I was supposed to meet up with Dean and Jamie at 12:30. It took me fifteen minutes from the time I caught the train. Lesson learned, won't do that again, hehe.

We went into the Swatch store and gawked at the ridiculous prices. XD What we went in there for didn't get done, since the staff there was very busy... so we headed into the huge Toys 'R' Us instead and wandered around in there for a while. It's amazing just how many 80s toys and things are coming back. Walked down to Port Authority to get our bus, ended up waiting quite a while for it--traffic was horrendous. And it wasn't even the Lincoln Tunnel that was the problem, strangely enough. It was the route we take to get to Mitsuwa Marketplace that was the problem. There was a fire at one place (trucks all over the road there), then a Pathmark truck seemed to break down... whatever it was, he wasn't moving and the cars in front of our bus U-turned and headed back. We were sitting in that one spot for about half an hour... but the cops out there let us back up, stopped traffic on the opposite side of the road, and let us drive through. A couple of times, we hit something (though what, I still don't know) and the bus would jolt so much it tried to launch everyone into the air, and the guy next to Jamie and I said, "This guy's gonna kill us." That still amuses me, hehe.

Long story short(er), we got there. It's such a cool place. They have a huge bookstore, where I immediately sought and bought two Detective Conan manga. Yes, they're completely in Japanese. It's cool having a copy that's not been messed with, though. It takes me a little while to piece out the kanji (since they have the syllables in kana, but they're very small and hard to read)... The first one I picked up was #16, the one introducing Kaitou Kid. It's going to take ages for us to get it in the states... another year at least, by the schedule Viz is keeping. Two years.

Manga's so cheap there, I might actually start collecting them. They had every volume. And the mall is half an hour from the city, and it only costs $4 round-trip. Got a couple of nice pens, too. Glitter pens. Very pretty.

And, after I picked up some pocky (because, come on, I'm not going anywhere near a Japanese market without getting some pocky), we went to this golf range next to the marketplace for a game of mini golf. XD It was way too windy, but we had a really good time. Dean cheated won. I was doing well in the beginning and sort of dropped the ball.

I didn't get to try any food--I was feeling adventurous again today, like I was in the Asian market in England. I shall do that next time. I'll definitely visit this place again... and they have a steakhouse there, too. I was telling Dean and Jamie that I want to go to a restaurant where they cook the food right in front of you (because I think that would be awesome to watch), and just try different things. Maybe I'm growing up a little.

Was great hanging out with Dean and Jamie again, especially so soon after my trip there. It'll be weird not seeing them for a while. They gave me Goldfish. I was a pleased CJ. <3

I am not going to want to work tomorrow. It's going to be so hard for me to get up. Not looking forward to it, but have to go.
