(no subject)

Just got an e-mail from NYU for an open house they're having next week. I'll get questions answered, sit in on a class, see what kinds of courses they have, and be able to register on-site. Because, you know, money pours out of my ass. No, really.

Maybe I'll go anyway, though. NYU has practically everything. (Even Astronomy, something I really wanted to take when I was looking for a college to attend.) And it's not like I have to register for something. I've always wondered about them... Can't afford it, but that doesn't get rid of the curiosity.

This is going to be one of those weeks that takes forever to go away. Today wasn't bad, though. We have a little project to do that would have taken us at least a week, if it weren't for the super-fast printer they have on the 11th floor.

And OMG, yay XD But to be totally nitpicky, what happened to the silhouette of Lady? I think the box art always looks better with the silhouette instead of a person.

My DVR is buzzing when it starts up, and it's fried again. This does not amuse me, as I have about six or seven hours of Monk that have NOT been watched yet. This is what I get for not following my instincts and taping them.

I think I want to draw icons again. I haven't drawn my own icons since... what, my first or second year here?

Need chocolate like I need a bigger ass, which would be the result to breathe. Damned hormones.

Um, Proform? Get your butts in gear, get a repairman over here, FIX OUR NEVER-WORKING TREADMILL, so I can have chocolate and not feel so guilty about it.

(Like the guilt's going to stop me now. Please. A flaming serpent couldn't stop me now.)

EDIT: ... but the lack of (edible) chocolate will. I shall settle for Nilla Wafers.

I was bad.

I ordered something. From Asia. Again. *hangs head in shame* But it's one of those things I know I'm going to order anyway, so I might as well get it over with. It'd be just my luck that they'd run out of it if I waited. It's a soundtrack. It's a soundtrack I would've gotten from CDJapan, but CDJapan doesn't have it.

The order's on hold, according to YesAsia. They couldn't get the authorization for my card. It might just be some little procedure they have to go through first. That better be it... because if Citibank is looking at where the order's shipping from and going "OH NOES, creditcardstealerperson =O", I shall have to smite them. They should know better by now, CDJapan is practically my second home online (Amazon being the first, of course). So yes, if it's not approved by tomorrow, I kill.

Checked my account. Citibank authorized it--at least, it's showing up. It should be fine tomorrow.

Who was it on my friends list that said they don't pay attention to reviews on Amazon? I'm starting to understand now. I saw some pretty bad reviews for Eragon, but I'm really enjoying it. Can't put it down. Mom's supposed to be picking the second book up from BJ's for me, but I think she forgot. XD;;

Tomorrow and Thursday should be relatively easy days. Thursday is the big meeting for all the auditors, and tomorrow, Jo said a lot of people will be out in the field or just taking a day off. I can only hope Joan is one of them. The woman drives me crazy sometimes, she really does. I think she drives us all a little nuts.

Cable box is still buzzing. Shall try to ignore it. Was going to unplug it, but I don't know if that thing needs any more jolts to its system. Might be better just to leave it plugged in. Bed. I'm compulsively checking my Gmail notifier to see if YesAsia has gotten back to me. ^^;
