(no subject)

You know, it amazes me when cops do something wrong, are caught on tape doing it, and plead not guilty. Because, you know, the tape isn't evidence of what they did. Come on.

The guy that got beat up says he's not angry and appears to be very forgiving, but I hope he sues the hell out of that police force. How do you consciously beat someone's head into a door that many times, that hard? Nothing clicked in your head?

-_- Anyway... had a decent day at work. I had to copy one of Jacob's huge cases and ended giving myself a nasty papercut in the process, and had other things to deal with in the afternoon that kept me busy.

Best thing, though... I found out that next month, from the 14th to the 18th, lots of people will be out. Brian, Joan, all the team leaders on our floor and downstairs, and in Sales Tax. In other words, in the office, there will be plenty of mice and no cats. It will be a very good week.

... It is so weird watching the intro for The Office and seeing buildings I see all the time.

*snap* ... Crap.

Tell me something: Are Prismacolors not meant for regular (manual, not electric) pencil sharpeners, are did I just happen to pick up two boxes with bad pencils? Not all of them are bad, but a few have points that break during sharpening. For paying so much for the things, they shouldn't break like that. I never had that problem with Crayolas, ever. They might not be professional pencils, but come on. I think I might have to go back to using Crayolas. XD;

Mom and Dad got me a case of crayons long ago, over a hundred colors... maybe two hundred. They need something like that with pencils. Will have to settle for the 50 colors. If I'm going to spend my money on something, it's going to be something that'll last longer than the initial sharpening. The black pencil in the set here and the blue pencil in the set at the house are both half-gone because their points kept breaking.

I have not checked my friends page at all today, so I hope everyone's doing okay. I won't check it now--making myself go to bed a little earlier tonight, because I have a doodling bug, and I'd rather sketch in bed than at the computer. Having music will only encourage me to stay up. So, like, 'night and stuff.

(And Mom's staying home tomorrow. Her stomach's been upset due to probably eating something that didin't agree with her, and her leg's been a little off since. I know she's not feeling well, but excuse me while I feel just a little bit jealous that she gets to stay home. ^^; Next month, CJ. Next month. It'll all be worth it for that one glorious week.)
