Well, that was interesting.
Jun. 10th, 2006 12:18 amWe had a leak. Only, it wasn't coming from our apartment, but from the top floor... and the leak was in our circuit box. I was the one that noticed it, because I'm awesome I have decent hearing and the circuit breaker is located right outside my room. It sounded like water, but I couldn't see any. The light was off in the hallway. I was so confused about what the sound was, I didn't think to turn the light on. ^^; But yeah, told Mom about it, she came out of her room and heard it, Dad came out and he heard it. Then we turned the light on. The water was really running. A few firefighters ended up coming to check it out (I guess they were already in the building since others in our line of apartments probably had the same problem) and shut our power off. Before that, though, we decided to shut everything off anyway, which is why I had to shut THIS off. If anything was going to blow in this apartment, it would not be my computer.
I was ready to hoof it, let me tell you. XD; Water coming out of a circuit breaker? Um, no?
So anyway, water stopped a while ago, wall's dry, and power's back. And because Craig and Matt had nothing but portable games to play, they fell asleep. Mwahaha.
Whoever had a leak on the top floor (I guess in apartment 22T?) had three inches of water in their place. Something on their sink broke--can't remember what the firefighter said it was. That was why all the water ended up down here.
Move along, nothing left to see here, people.
