So...

So I went uploading icons again. X3;; I found those icons through the Tennant!love community. I found that community by googling for The Quartermass Experiment (the 2005 live BBC broadcast thing, not the old one(s)), failing to find mention of a DVD, and noticing a link to the LJ community. The past... hour an a half or so has been spent in that community, snagging icons, looking at pictures, finding (and watching) a 9-minute mini-drama starring him and a Kate somebody (XD;;), and finding out that David Tennant is nice enough to send autographs to people who send him letters. Supposedly. Not the first I've heard of it.

Um. Know what? I'm going to forget that I'm 24 for a moment. I'm going to let myself do the fangirly thing just this once. I'm sorry, but I want his autograph. o_o

Went to this little place in town for Craig's birthday--the Hamlin Fun Center. Joy of joys. ^^; Played one game of lazer tag, which actually ended up being a waste of time, because the stupid attendant put the four of us (that's me, Craig, Matt, and Anthony) on the same team, and it took a million years to score points, and no one actually died. Our accuracy was pitiful. We didn't realize we were on the same team until we got our score printouts. I told the guy we didn't want team play.

Anyway, played a bunch of arcade games. They got their hands on an F-Zero AX machine. Craig's never gotten a chance to play it before now, so he was absolutely floored at the different characters you use there. Next time we go, he might bring the GameCube memory card with our F-Zero GX data on it. Had I known they got a machine, I'd have told him to bring it.

They got another DDRExteme machine, too. I didn't play it though. Too many people in there. No one exceptionally good or anything--I'd have held my own against them--but I'm shy about playing in public.

They need Time Crisis 2. They have Crisis Zone, or something like that. Same type of game, but only one player. Where's the fun in that? When Matthew took me to Lazer Park last year, we played Time Crisis 2. That kind of game is much more fun with two people. Not to say this one wasn't. I beat the snot out of a tank. With a machine gun. Yay.

The boys are down in the basement now, playing on the XBox, so I've got time to myself. Time which is NOT being wittled away looking at a certain Scot. Naaaaah.
