Okay, so...
Jul. 30th, 2006 10:26 amMom may be coming down with the flu. She went to bed last night not feeling well, and couldn't get up this morning. She's up now, but she's still feeling lousy. I may have to take the train home. I'm tempted to just take tomorrow off, but I guess I'll be good and go home. I'd had no idea she wasn't feeling well. She just sort of disappeared last night. We were all tired.
Atlantic City... I didn't even go into a casino. ^^; I should have, just to walk around and see what it was like, but I didn't feel a need to. Mom and Dad went in while Craig and I hung around the little amusement park they have there. Craig almost got swindled. XD ( Guy tries to cheat my brother into playing a game here. )
There were those water gun race games everywhere. We played them three times each: First time, neither of us won. Second time, I sat there and really aimed the nozzle, and the water stream was DEAD on target, so I won that one. Got a Knuckles plush. Not an official plush or anything, but he looks all right. ^_^ Third time, Craig found himself wanting a Knux and he won. And we got Sonic and Tails plushes from this dinky little fishing game. Mom and Dad were amused, hehe.
I didn't even get dinner last night... just ate a funnel cake, which I'd been craving since we stepped foot on the boardwalk. Would have gotten something, but the only place we stopped at on the way home was a service plaza that had a Roy Rogers in it (other things too, but they were closed down for the night). Last time we had RR, the chicken was too salty. We're too used to Popeye's. So, I left it alone. And I was hungry when we got home last night, but too tired to do anything about it.
Need to see how I'm getting home today. Really don't want to take the train. It's not so much taking the train, it's the ending up in New Jersey and having to take the PATH just to get to the city that irks me. Then I have to get on the subway. 9_9; And the trains are local on weekends. It just seems like too much to go through to get home. Takes a million years compared to coming up during the week.
