Mom and I aren't leaving until late tonight, since she and Dad are going to Paul and Nancy's for dinner. I have one more day before I go back to the monotony that is working life. I'll try not to dwell on that.
Target has 1/6 scale models of the Master Sword and Hylian Shield from Twilight Princess! And I got one. I should've gotten two. I had to break open the packaging to get to the soundtrack CD. -_- The actual box is still in the packaging though. I'm not taking that out. The second I take it out, hands will be all over it. You can open the front flap without removing the entire box, so that's just how Craig and probably Matt will have to see it.
A full soundtrack for the game needs to be made ASAP. This one only has six songs on it. (But damn, is the Hyrule Field theme lovely.) I'm a little impatient. I know the game just came out a week ago, but it feels like it's taking WAY too long for people to rip the soundtrack. And I haven't seen any word of a full soundtrack yet. Soon, maybe. I'm still glad I was able to get it. Nintendo's offering it with a renewed subscription to Nintendo Power, but Craig doesn't need a new sub until June.
I haven't gotten my new copy of Namco Museum 3 yet from the guy on Amazon. He's got two days. If Dad doesn't say it came by Tuesday night, I'm kickin' some ass. Or e-mailing, whatever. It's not like it cost me a lot, but there's no way it should take this long to get here. I ordered it in the 4th. Figure in a few days after that for him to ship it. It should still be here already. He had 100% positive feedback until someone gave him a 1 out of 5 rating yesterday because they hadn't gotten their item yet.
NaNo does not look like it's going to be finished this year. I'll keep trying, but I'm still way too far behind. I just had far too much on my mind this time around. I think if the new job could've waited until after the holidays, I'd have done better. This year was too... busy? I don't have the usual time I've had at work to write... I'm right outside my boss' office. I'm not sure he cares that much, though. That place is seriously so much more laidback than Tax. These people actually get on the internet and surf it. I'm not used to that yet.
More people should be at work tomorrow than there have been for the past two weeks, including one that's supposed to give me more to do when he gets back. We'll see what happens with that...
I want to play some games, but I think I need a nap first. Woke up way too early. And Craig's still asleep, so this is a good time for me to doze off again.
