Bed, please.
Jul. 10th, 2007 07:02 amDon't want to go to work today. I want to get my hair done, it's aggravating me... and the only chance I'll really have is after work tomorrow. Of course, since they have to pull my braids out, pick the kinks out of my hair, wash it, and braid it up again, I'll be there all night. I won't have enough time. I'm not coming home at/after 10pm, I don't care if I don't have to go to work the next day. -_-
Sitting in that chair all day today probably wouldn't be much better than sitting at the office. Maybe I'll leave a few hours early today or tomorrow. Tomorrow would be better because I get paid, but I just want to get it done now. Mom doesn't understand why I can't get this done after work. "After work" for her is what I need; it's only about 11 when she sits down in the chair. Her hair's not as annoying to deal with, so she's there for a few hours and that's it. I, on the other hand, have too much hair. Way too much. And I hate them attacking my head with the comb. I've gotten so tenderheaded lately, it makes me miss perms.
Think if I go, today or tomorrow, I'm going to have them braid my own hair. I'm going to ask them what I can do with it. The woman said last time my own hair is very good for braiding, that it's a good length and there's a lot of it to work with.
Gah. You know, it's just too hot, and I'm tired because I woke up last night to a throbbing index finger and Mom being home (they scheduled her for a medical--which means she doesn't work that night and goes in at eight in the morning--but they didn't tell her she had it; she got aggravated and booked off) with CourtTV blaring in the living room. She gave me some Naprosyn, which makes you drowsy. Sure took me a while to get back to sleep, though. I'm really feeling lazy.
I guess if I take any part of the day off, it'll be tomorrow... at least I won't have to go back to work the next day. I'm just not getting all this done past 5 o'clock. 9_9
EDIT: Okay, I'll go tomorrow, leave work at 2. That's enough. We'll see how long it takes them to do a short style. I've only gotten long styles at this place.
