Done with one.
Aug. 3rd, 2007 09:55 amChecked WebSIMS this morning, and the first bill is officially paid. Zero balance. ^___^ Just have to take care of the $900 one now, and that'll have to be in installments. Thankfully, the post office in this area doesn't seem to get as many customers as the one I used to go to near Tax, and no one here really cares if you take a long time to run your errands, anyway. I can go down there every couple weeks and send payments out there. It seems they got the envelope the next day and immediately processed it. Now that I know it's so easy, I can definitely do it like this. Hopefully, if they were thinking about sending my debt to a collection agency, they're thinking twice about it because I just paid one bill in full. ^^; I have a feeling they wait ten years or something before they do anything like that.
I feel good about it. I really should have done this a long time ago. If I want to get out of this rut, I have to get myself out of it. I can't wait for someone to assist me. Assistance would be beautiful, but one must be a realist about these things.
(Although, if that trip to Atlantic City does happen and I have another bout of beginner's luck, guess what the money's going towards. XD)
May end up going downstairs to the clothing store connected to this building. I foolishly wore a shirt I know has breathing problems. It's the type of shirt that makes you sweat. Knowing that, I ironed it and put it on anyway. I got to work with a sweaty back (like, seriously, wet) and armpits so sweaty it went through the shirt. The only reason I'm feeling better now is Maureen's fan. I sat at her desk for about ten minutes since she's not coming in today, and that cooled me off. I don't plan on going back outside until it's time to leave. I brought my own lunch.
Anyway.
