Remind me next time I have an overwhelming urge to stay home to STAY HOME.
No one's seen the key. I'm going to check with Leila before I see if Valdi has a spare or call the building manager's office for a spare. She was shredding last week and needed the shredder room open several days. After I'd sent the e-mail asking if anyone had seen the key, she called while I was away from my desk, but didn't leave a message and hasn't said anything since. I don't know for sure if she knows the key sits in my desk, but she might have it. It just makes no sense that it was there when I left and it was gone the next morning.
Anne does not seem to be able to remember John's extension. I really don't get what's so hard about 2468. I've told her at least five times now. She seems to be one of those people that can't be bothered to write things down.
The headache from yesterday's still here. It's not because I'm hungry, because I ate before I left, and once again, it's been with me since I woke up. Feels like it might be a little worse, and it might be my eyes.
I've been a big ball of irritation all day. Leaving in four hours, though. That's good, right?
I don't expect to get any sleep tonight. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Ah, hypocrisy.
Oct. 15th, 2007 03:55 pmBoss said as I gave him my leave slip a few minutes ago:
"Okay, but you should tell me sooner if you're leaving."
Yeah, because his neglecting to tell anyone when he'll be in five hours late or be leaving two hours early isn't the same thing. At least I told him at all!
I dare not mention it to Mom. Her rationalizing everything he does as "It's good to be the boss" pisses me off. Am I the only one who finds that completely unfair? He's not above anything.
Anyway. Out in five minutes. Maybe on the train I'll relax a little and this stupid headache will go away.
