SO. Here's what happened today.

I did not go to work. I decided, screw it, I don't need the extra day's aggravation. I took the 10am bus, got up here at 1pm, and treated Dad to Red Lobster's endless shrimp promotion. Dad asked if I wanted to look for a Wii (I forget how that came about), and even though we weren't really expecting to find one, we started looking around. We went to Best Buy, where several people know us, and asked the guy at the door (who knows us) if they had any Wiis. He looked around and whispered, "We're getting some in later today. There's a truck coming. Come back at around 5:30, 6 o'clock."

So we walked around to walk off the shrimp. Dad went to Home Depot and asked for advice on hanging the ceiling tiles in the basement. We basically killed a bit of time before going back to Best Buy at five. We were not the only ones who knew about those Wiis. There were several people around who were just standing there. There's a guy that got in before we did, and he was just walking around the store. A bunch of us were kind of loitering around the front of the store. They finally came out, and we got two. So now I have one for the city (which is good, since there are three games coming out this week, and one of them is reserved, so I'll be getting at least one this week). Mom says we should sell the other one. XD Really hope they weren't going to advertise it in tomorrow's ad, and if they are, I hope they didn't pull out their entire shipment tonight.

So anyway, I'm pretty broke right now, which means I'll probably stay home if the 'rents go out tomorrow. But that's okay. I gots me a second Wii.
