100 MINUTES.
Feb. 3rd, 2008 01:51 pmI went walking today. I've had soda two days in a row (Friday and yesterday) and I decided to make up for it, so I walked to/over the Williamsburg Bridge and back. I didn't stop too many times, because whenever I did I got a chafing feeling. Something. If I kept walking, it went away, so I tried not to stop too much. I had to a couple times--on my way to the bridge, the fronts of my calves were hurting, and on the way back near the foot of the bridge, my left foot started hurting. Then my right foot started up and I thought I might've gotten glass in my sneaker, so I stopped to make sure everything was still in one piece.
I feel good. Not having to wear a coat/jacket and not having my bag with me was great. It was just me, no extra weight. This walk, aside from the few instances where my body was like "WTF are you doing to me?!", was a lot easier than any others I've taken. If we're home on weekends, I'll probably make a habit of this. Maybe I'll stay home every couple weeks anyway... I don't know. That would be harder to do. ^^;
