"It's not a job interview, is it?"
Mar. 6th, 2008 09:29 amFirst of all, I'm wearing jeans and sneakers, so no, it's not a job interview. But what made him ask that question? 'Scuse me while I snicker.
Negima! 18 doesn't come out until June. JUNE. After that cliffhanger. J-U-N-E.
Methinks Joseph may be right, and the boss is picking on me for whatever reason. I hope he's also right that Alyce is next, and that the boss moves on to her ASAP, because I'm getting sick of his crap. Also think if he's not going to pay attention in meetings, he needs to keep his ass out. We have the Multiple PIDs meeting every single week, and for the past three or four meetings we've said we're taking a sample of 300 cases from the huge report from Kings County. Stupid's sitting in the meeting and goes "Oh, Christina can take the spreadsheet and sort it according to so-and-so and pick out the cases from each borough..." and wtf? BROOKLYN, you numbskull. And we'd already said we were taking the top 300 cases from the list. No sorting. Go back to your office and close the door. Seriously, the man is totally oblivious half the time.
Reiterated to Mom that I'm not sticking with this job. She started to react the way she always does, and I told her again, "I'll get something, but not this. I can't take this anymore. I'm not doing it." She then said to just make sure I have good health insurance and to ask about it before I jump into anything. Have I finally managed to get through to her? I don't know. Sure hope so. It's aggravating as hell to finally know what I want to do and have her downplaying and countering every single little thing.
