(no subject)

Okay, so, walked Oliver last night. Felt incredibly dizzy, but figured it might be because I took a dose of Cymbalta minutes before I threw up the second time, and maybe the dose never got processed. Took one when I got back in last night. Took Oliver out this morning, and I'm still not right. I can't explain it. It's only slightly stomach-related, I think. I'm having a hot flash right now, and I felt/feel unstready on my feet. Oliver was doing his usual "sniff and pee on everything" routine and I had to keep pulling him along. Right now I'm sitting and I don't want to get up again. I made an appointment to see the doctor for 9:45, so I'm leaving here in a bit. Bringing my bag just in case I feel okay later and can go to work.

I really wish I had a job I could do from home, like Maureen and Nancy. I'd just e-mail the boss and say I'm working from home, and that would be that.

Ha.

Gastroenteritis, AKA "stomach flu". It's possible it wasn't food poisoning at all, but Nancy passing the virus to me on Thursday. I looked it up, having never heard of it before, and it said symptoms don't necessarily show up right away, that it could take hours or days to show up. I've been told not to eat anything heavy or greasy. My stomach's still unsettled, but I just realized that because I've literally had about 120 calories in the form of a can of Pepsi all day, and I've left the apartment three times. I haven't eaten anything, so of course my stomach would be upset.

Back to work tomorrow. Thankfully, the boss handled the question Don had about a contract that supposedly went through our office. The names in it weren't familiar at all, and I think Don might actually be mistaken. They weren't familiar to the boss either, though, so chances are it was handled by someone else.

I had some shrimp sushi tonight! Also tried beef yakisoba, but I didn't like it too much. Mom liked it, so she can finish it. She thought the shrimp tempura was too greasy. She got some shrimp skewers, too--kushiyaki, I believe--and she liked those. I think she wanted to try the sushi place down the block out and was waiting for me to bring it up, haha.

Unrelated: This dog is really cute.

Oh, and Oliver got "attacked" by a very large puppy. XD I have no idea what breed he was, and I should have asked... but he was huge and fluffy and SO playful. Oliver wanted no part of it. ^^;;
