Eh, money.

So I'm getting rid of the daybed at the house because it's been there since we built the house. That was back in 11th grade. It's time. XD; I'm getting a futon, because I won't be using it every single day, and that's all I need, really. Mom was thinking I should get a traditional sofa bed, but I wasn't really fond of the idea, and for now, that room's still mine. I have to be very good about spending right now, because when it comes in, I'll have to fork over $400. I already put $140 down on it and would've put down more, but my credit card's nearly at its limit. The payment I'd just made only went through a day before. I told Mom I'm just going to put the money aside with the next check.

Family Orientation Day at LaGCC on Saturday; a transfer preparation workshop. We were supposed to be going back up to the house, but I'm not sure if we're going to go now. If we left after that, we wouldn't get to the house until Saturday evening, and then we'd have to turn back around the next day at 2pm. Funny thing is, the test for Train Operator with Transit is the same day at the tail end of the admissions event, so won't be going to that. Mom can go to the house, maybe I'll just stay here.

Oliver went after a guy in the elevator (he doesn't like Asians for some reason), and I hit him a couple times and told him he was bad. He left the doorway to my room, and I assumed he went to sleep in Mom's room, but he'd walked out to the living room. When I left my room to look for him, he was laying on the floor looking sad. I'm not sure if dogs really understand, but I pet him and told him "It's okay, I'm not mad you." He was in a mood today, though. He also ate a very late dinner because he wouldn't eat the food I gave him in the beginning. The second time I put some out for him (after 9pm), he ate it.

Happened the other day: Oliver wanted me to follow him to the kitchen, so I got up and followed... and after about five doggy steps, he farted. The amusing part? The second after it came out, he swung around to look at his butt, like, "What the heck was that?" And then he started walking again like nothing happened. XD

Some guy tried to pick me up while I was walking Ollie. He was cute, but I have this thing about guys on the street (although he looked respectable enough--his pants actually fit), and I won't have time anyway come September. It's bad enough I may end up having to take weekend classes depending on scheduling.

Last week was a short week, but I sure hope this week goes as quickly. Friday was the only part of last week that took a year and a day to pass.
