Damnit, Woot!... and school stuff.

They're having a woot off and I have NO MONEY. Seriously none at this point: Mom needed to borrow the $200 I was holding for the bed until tomorrow, to pay the cable bill. (She's putting the money back tomorrow, of course.) I'd kept telling Craig I had no money, but knowing I had the extra $200 in the other checking account, but now even that's gone. And of course Woot goes ahead and does their thing. Sob. And I have to dump $200 into the credit card because another payment for the Cricut should be coming out next week, I believe, and as of right now I'm over the limit, and I need to get UNDER the limit before my next due date.

ANYWAY. Freaking money. Mega Millions FTW! -_-;

Worked out my schedule where I can both work and attend school full-time. Craig isn't going to like it, though, because Beginning Drawing had to be moved to Saturday mornings, 9:15-12:45. I can get to the house after that if I take the bus (wouldn't get up there until 5 something, though), but most often, I'm going to end up staying here each weekend. For three months. He is NOT going to like that. I think it'll be a good thing for me, though. Going up there is one gigantic distraction, and I'm going to have a full course load. (Staying home may also mean he doesn't get to see Oliver, unless Mom wants to bring him up every once in a while, but then someone has to walk him.) I'm sure it's distracting for him, too. I'm just another excuse to play video games. ^^; I'll probably only go up when I need to, or just once in a while.

I needed to change my schedule, too, because Topics in Astronomy (I have to take a lab science class) is actually being offered in the evening and I needed to jump on that in case it didn't come up again. There was no real conflict.

So, four days a week, I start classes at 4:35pm, and I get out at either 7:30 or 7:55. Friday has nothing. Saturday is drawing. Mom looked at the schedule (I e-mailed it to her earlier) and said it looked good. I found at least one class I can take for the winter session. There's a possibility of a second one, but it requires me to be there all day, so I would have to work something out with the boss... maybe working a little longer each day or something. Although now that I think about it, that won't work unless I come in earlier each day, not leave later, because the first class would meet from 5:45-9:05 two days a week.

All I have to do now is figure out loans... because Mom's going to up my rent. I told her a long time ago she could, and she's been trying not to, but she can't handle everything on her own with what I'm contributing. I could do TuitionPay and spread the cost of the semester over five months, but... eh. I'll probably just do what I was thinking and take out a loan. It'll be easier that way. All I'll have to worry about is books. Might go to the financial aid office tomorrow and ask them for guidance--this is the first time I'm having to figure out the whole loan thing.

If anyone finds Violento (Up Mix) by a person/group called Bailongo!, I'll be extremely happy. One of the coolest tango songs I've ever heard, and a song that So You Think You Can Dance used for one of the performances when there is NO COPY ON THE INTERNET. Bastards. Not even iTunes has it. They and Napster only have this one album from five years ago that doesn't have that track at all in any form. They've done this before. I think if they're use a song that's obscure, they should make it available for purchase/download. I don't mind paying for it. -_-

Up note: The Paint Roller battle in Kirby Canvas Curse? BEST BOSS EVER. I unlocked the subgame. I just spent I don't know how much time playing Paint Panic on level 3. I spent more time playing that than the actual game. It goes on and on as long as you don't get hit four times. It's the greatest minigame ever.

(Seriously, games like that and de Blob are taking over my brain. Anything that serves as a big excuse to draw and color works for me.)
