Loan money's here.
Oct. 21st, 2009 11:00 pmAnd I just realized they screwed up, or they owe me a refund, or something, because they applied $573 of the payment of the subsidized loan to this semester's tuition. My tuition for this semester was paid. (I only owed them $18 for switching NSS after a certain time, and I figured that would get taken from the check.) My union voucher's no longer showing up on the bill, either. $485 through TuitionPay, plus the $405 voucher, plus the $140 I got for being part-time = TUITION PAID. Unless the deduction is automatic, it shouldn't have happened. It shouldn't have happened anyway when I should've had a $0 balance, or a balance of $18 with that fee.
Hopefully it's the bursar I have to deal with and not SFS, because tomorrow's the last day to officially withdraw from classes, and I'm sure SFS will have lots of people there. I still have the printout of my bill, the "completed" status on TuitionPay, and my financial aid awards (which includes my voucher) from when I first noticed the loan stop on my record, so I can prove that I paid the money prior to receiving the loan. I want the rest of my money. I'm not gonna pay interest on money I haven't actually used. Either they're giving me back the money they took, or they're giving me back the money I paid.
ANYWAY, enough about that. Aunt Flo came during class today, and she's only starting to get to me now, so the loan thing just kind of ticked me off a bit.
So crosshatching is totally fun, but I need to do my 18"x24" again. XD;; I focused too much on hatching and not enough on keeping the objects from looking flat. The cool thing was Prof. Mayer said I was doing well, and she said, "You're a fine arts major, right? Well, we're glad to have you." I just grinned and thanked her. That made me feel so good. I'm not the best artist there by a longshot, but yay. ^_^
Oh, and I found not one, but TWO Super Mario Bros. arts in the hallway, one black-and-white thing (from New Super Mario Bros.: Mario had a Mega Mushroom and was smashing everything in his path) from Intro to Design and one color copy of official artwork (from back in the SMB3 days, somewhere around there) in Illustration. Found out through them that one of the girls in my class is also a gamer/anime geek. We had much to talk about, haha. But yes, Mario artwork = awesome.
Right, bed.
