Mom and Dad told me of a bus ad that's been around the city (though it won't be now XD) by the clothing company Akademiks. There are two, one with a guy, the other with a girl, both holding a book. It says "Read books, get brain."
I've seen the guy ad. He's standing there, fully clothed, holding the book. It says the line in English, then in Spanish and Japanese.
What I never saw until Dad just showed it to me in the newspaper was the female ad. She's kneeling, wearing hot pants (butt facing you), and it says the same line.
My parents just told me while we were out that "get brain" is slang for "get a blowjob".
Mom said that the fact they put it in Japanese makes it obvious it was geared toward younger people, hehe. That was what caught my attention in the subway, too: I saw the character for "a", but I'm in commuting mode when I get off that train, so I never really stopped to look at the ad.
They're pulling those things like crazy. XD Whoever is in charge of screening those signs is getting fired, I'm sure... after the ads on the subway for that new cartoon on Comedy Central. And Mom told me that another ad commemorating the subway's 100 years has hidden messages for scientology. X)
