Must post this so I remember to tell Craig, because he will die. Will probably demand I draw it, too.

I downloaded the sound files for the final beta of Star Fox 2. (Good music, by the way. Way better than the first game's music. Did this game see the light of day anywhere, Japan included, before they made SF64? I really wanted to play it... then it dropped off the face of the planet...) Whoever named the files calls Andross "Andorf." So, of course, the image of Ganondorf pops into my head. A huge Ganondorf head like Andross always is. With Arwings flying around it.

The credits theme from SF2, I swear, has bits and pieces in it that sound like they're from Little Nemo. o_o Maybe it's just the key it's in... It sounds like they took a couple of the songs and played around with them.

... Then there's a part that reminds me of the ending theme from Dragon Spirit. o_O

Star Wolf's theme is cool. XD Okay, I'm going to stop this piece of spam now.

<3 SPC files. They're tiny and allow me to sample soundtracks without having to spend an hour or two downloading them. X)

Mom gave me ice cream. She's a bad, bad person.

"I'm drinking those bottled waters instead of soda."

"Oh, you're trying to limit your sugar! Here, I got two half-gallons of Breyer's chocolate ice cream for you."

"... Okay. X3"

Oh god... gives me flashbacks of when I used to be a co-admin at SFNet...

Anywho, Andross IS Andorf in the Japanese versions of all SF games, he just got renamed because people are stupid and could possibly misread that as "Adolf" as in... yeah, buddy Hitler. :O

I have audio rips of almost ALL of SF64... specifically the Japanese release (can't STAND the dub... actually, SF tends to get the short end of the stick on dubbing quality... though thankfully in the Super Smash Bros. games Nintendo is smart and usually leaves Fox and friends in Japanese) if you are interested. >_>;;;

Oh no, my rips aren't of the OST, they're of the ingame audio... as in, all the comm chatter. Like I just plugged the system into a capture card and ganked the audio. (Well technically I was capturing off a video tape, but still!)

You wouldn't believe how cut-happy Nintendo was for the stateside release... and also how adorable Slippy is in the original. :(
