meitantei_cjWould you believe I sent myself the wrong file this morning? XD;; It's all in one place now. I will not forget the disk or anything else again. It's hard for me to keep track this time. Was easier having all that free time two days a week at the IRS and being able to blow through my daily quotas, constantly have my disk with me.
Speaking of, have 6,119 words so far. I'm nearly two days ahead of schedule. I think I'm going to try for 8,000 today.
A monster urge to draw two of the characters (the only two I've gotten to so far) is trying to derail my effort to stay ahead. Really want to sketch them out. Really. One of them is modeled (in personality) off of Arsene Lupin and Kaitou Kid. I got all my characters from ideas on Seventh Sanctum... "a polite bandit" just happened to come up. That would be Fee. I like Fee. Writing him is fun.
I wanna donate $100 to NaNoWriMo. I really want to donate $250 (personalized copy of No Plot? No Problem!, anyone?), but that would take an extraordinary amount of saving on my part, and I'm not sure I'm capable of it, nor if I should actually attempt it when I have relatively-small tuition bills to pay off.
The day was good. For most of the afternoon, Joan was downstairs with Ting and Doumer, so I had more than two hours by myself. XD When she left today, she commented that the week is long. It's not for me. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, for the most part.
Back to work. Maybe I'll treat myself to a game after I've gotten more writing in.
