Today was the best day ever... as in, no Brian (at least until three, when he decided to scare the shit out of me by coming downstairs and looming on Sales Tax's side--because that's what he does at his height, he looms), no Joan, no Tas (which isn't a big deal, she's really laid-back about things), no Debbie (whose eyes pry WAY too much into things that aren't her business, thankyouverymuch). That meant I could have all the time I wanted for lunch today.
... What? No one was there to care what time I got back. XD;
So I hopped a train and went to Borders (I knew I should have printed that coupon from my e-mail...) and picked up a couple things, then stopped at Burger King on the way back, even though I was fifteen minutes past my official lunchhour 45 minutes. (Tas gives me an hour, but on paper, I don't get that long.) I didn't get back until about ten after one, and because Brian wasn't around, I got to eat my Whopper at my desk. Of course, my garbage bag smelled like Whopper because of the wrapping. When Brian came downstairs at three, he didn't bother walking past my desk, so he didn't smell it. I don't know if he could have smelled it, way up there. Seriously, he's gotta be about 6'6". He has to be.
I also spent the entire day immersed in creativity. (Except for the ten minutes of Brian. I busied myself with something that would've needed to be done anyway, even though there was no rush.) I drew like mad--don't have too much to show for it, but I drew, and I'm pleased enough with that. And now I'm about to eat shrimp (yaaaaay, I was just thinking this morning that I wanted shrimp... I think Mom and I have this weird connection, this isn't the first time we've known exactly what the other wants), and then work on that CG I stayed up doing last night.
Haven't gotten a call from Mr. Hodge, so I still don't know if we're having another class. It seems like we're not, at this point.
