I hate allergies.

meitantei_cjFirst things first, this office is RIDICULOUSLY cold. Or it could just be me. No one else is complaining, though that might be because we all know building management won't do a thing about it.
My sinuses have been giving me issues since last night, when I woke up at 1-something and couldn't get back to sleep because my scalp kept itching and itching and ITCHING. And then I watched part of a recorded episode of The People's Court after downing a can of Mountain Dew (I know, very stupid). Finally got back to sleep and got woken up not even an hour later by, of all things, AUDREY II from Little Shop of Horrors. Damn my dreams. I did watch the clips of the lost ending on YouTube, but that was a good few days ago, so why the hell did the stupid plant pop into my head last night? I had to get out of bed and pace the apartment before laying down again to make sure I'd rid my thoughts of any giant man-eating plants. 9_9 Anyway, my nose decided at one point during the night to stuff itself. Yay.
Now I'm out here in the financial district where everyone and their pet goat smokes. My head + cigarette smoke = NO. NO NO NO. I've had pressure in my head all day, my eyes are itching nonstop, and I'm sniffling for no reason other than to sniffle. That's better than Niagra Falls running out of my nostrils, but... argh.
And it's only about 2:30. So not funny. I'm tempted to go home, but I'm trying to get rid of that urge. I just got back from vacation, I don't want to take off so quickly.
