LOL. It may be legit, but considering today's date...

And I have to show Craig the Assassin's Gear vid on Youtube. He and I know next to jack-squat about either game (although I actually sat at work reading the MGS Wikia and educating myself, eheh), but he appreciates a good joke. Also, I have a sneaking feeling he might ask me for MGS4. He hasn't played the other games in the series, but he's been talking about it more, probably because of Snake and the codec conversations in SSBB.

The name change is a prank, but the new menu item is legit.

Ah... a "compilation" of previous Metal Gears (I think it's called "MGS Essentials" or something) hit recently, you might want to look into that as a Metal Gear crash course. It has MGS1-3 (MGS1 is the PSX version and not the GameCube remake). If I didn't own nearly every incarnation of MGS, I'd have picked that up. :)

I just saw the commercial for it. ^_^ At first I thought the whole thing was a prank, but a place that sells pizza starting to sell pasta really isn't that much of a stretch.

I shall look into it. I really want to see MGS2 just for the WTFness of the ending. I read about it. I don't remember it now. I remember my reactions reading about it, but I think it's something I really have to experience... XD;
