XD I'm sorry, I have to post this.
Spoilers for Metal Gear Solid 2's plot... XD; Taken from TV Tropes' "I Am Not Making This Up" video game examples:
Metal Gear Solid 2: A bisexual flamenco-dancing vampire! A magical ghost-possessed arm! The cyborg ninja is a Russian mercenary with hairy armpits! It turns out the psychic woman wasn't psychic and then it turned out she was! They've all been dead! For a hundred years! Your entire life was an elaborate charade! But you have freedom to decide! She's pregnant! She can't be pregnant because she doesn't exist, except she does, except she might not! THE VILLAINS MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT BE A SENTIENT WHITE HOUSE! THAT CONTROLS THE INTERNETS! I NEED SCISSORS! 61!
Seriously, playing the game was all sorts of fun, but... yeah. XD; And I totally missed the trigger for the conversation about Vamp, although I saw it on YouTube. And then of course someone on TVT mentioned the president grabbing Raiden's package. Ahahaha.
OH, and if Craig beat Solidus for me and ended the game, if we've unlocked it, I MUST SHOW HIM that casting theatre thing. MUST. One of the users on YouTube put Otacon in as Vamp, which is both hilarious and creepy, and Craig hasn't seen the vid yet. And YouTube-quality video sucks, so I'll just show him on the TV. Otacon should just not do those things.
Now I wanna play the game again. You know I haven't even played through MGS1 yet, right? I dove right into 2. ^^;

I was unaware of the whole "press buttons during Codec scenes to hear Snake's/Raiden's thoughts" thing. The game will be played through again for that. Oh, and for Otacon's horrible takes on Chinese proverbs, because I totally missed every last one of them the first time around.

The first one that really made us crack up was Prince of Awesome. And the "what if video game characters were real?" bit with Kirby, ahaha. And the Mega Man one (Awesome Man?)--WTF was up with that one? And isn't there an Awesome's Creed? XD
I love those things, they're full of win.
