I'm awake, so I'm posting.

Mom and I went to see Soul Men yesterday. It's good, really funny. Being that it stars Bernie Mac (who was great) and Samuel L. Jackson, though, you absolutely CANNOT have anything against hearing any profanity, especially any variation of The F Word. They say it a lot. There are also a couple or three sex scenes that kind of make you squirm if you're not used to that sort of thing. Most graphic thing is bare boobies, really. Still, very funny movie, and there was a nice tribute to Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes (who's also in the movie) that ran during the credits. Good soundtrack too, but then again, I grew up on that stuff because of my parents. ^_^

Also, a dog is definitely okay, so now I just have to go looking around for one I/Mom/possibly the boys (if they come down again anytime soon, but probably not) will like.

Are you still going to get Oliver?

I found two more (upstate) that I like, though they aren't in a shelter and one is a little older. Still, I'm going to go to the ASPCA here and look at Oliver first, and any other Shih Tzus or Lhasa Apsos they have. I still like Oliver. Thinking of going on Tuesday and having Mom meet me so she can see if she likes him (or another dog) too. ^_^
