meitantei_cjI had a chance to get The World Ends With You through a trade for one of my books on Swaptree, and the deal was gone when I got back from walking Oliver. In fact, HALF the games I could have received are gone. I'm stuck with old PS2 and Xbox games no one would want anyway. Sob. I knew I should have just initiated the trade... I wanted to see what the game was all about.
EDIT: Also, making Mom a Mother's Day card. (I told her I want to start making cards, and she was admiring the scrapbooking/papercraft stuff I bought from HSN. She said she'd wanted to get into crafting before. I'm going to tell her she can mess around with it if she wants.) My first time trying to make a card, but I think she'll like it. Nothing on the inside yet, but the outside looks okay. I lack some of the tools people usually use, but considering how much money's going to go flying out of me over the next few months, the supplies will have to wait a bit. ^^; I DO want to get a box of blank cards & envelopes, though. As it is, I'm going to have to make my own envelope for this card because I have no idea what size I actually made it. HSN has three sets of them (I believe 50 in two of the packs, 40 in the last one) for $10 each. They weren't there as part of craft month, so the price shouldn't change.
I had to banish Oliver from Mom's room because he kept barking at people he heard in the hallway. He's sleeping outside her door now. XD
The fact that Lotto is up to $29 million, when it starts at $3 million and only goes up one million each drawing, should tell the New York Lottery that they seriously need to revamp the game. Every drawing I buy a ticket and check the morning after the drawing and think, "Surely someone's hit it by now." And it's gone up another million. Lotto does not hit $29 million.
