(no subject)

OKAY! A day of... hopefully not much... awaits me! I'll have to answer phones like mad most likely, maybe pick up faxes, possibly copy some things, and definitely hand out mail. And if I get any checks, I'll have to deal with that, urgh. ^^; And I'm sort of tired... but if I don't have to do much, it won't matter.

Time to put Sonic Drive on a CD. Need that song, it'll pump me up.

Am I ever loaded. XD I got my paycheck today. $583! That's the most money I've EVER had at one time. Now, I'm not going to go crazy with it; I'm going to Borders this weekend (if Craig and I go up to the house), and buying the one or two books I wanted, and I'm going to save the rest. I've got things I want, of course, but I'll only spend a little bit out of each paycheck and put the rest away, save up what I get... especially if I want a laptop anytime soon.

Oh my god, another paycheck or two and I could get a laptop. XDDD *shuts up*

It feels like a Thursday to me. o_o What a disappointment it's going to be to wake up tomorrow and realize it's only Wednesday. ^^;

So today... mwahaha. Joanne actually came to work today, because it really didn't make sense to leave me at the office by myself (Tas wasn't in, and neither was Joan). The two of us did absolutely nothing today. Just passed out mail and chatted, and I did some proofreading (found mistakes I never noticed before, and I have to fix a few things...) and some drawing. We did nothing. Happy happy. Free day. Tomorrow won't be so nice, heh. Of course, tomorrow I'm also going to the IRS again in the afternoon, which means at least an hour by myself, possibly two. Mwah. And Friday, Joan won't be in. So if there's nothing to do, and Tas doesn't give me anything, it'll be another free day.

Joan should take off more often, the atmosphere seems so much lighter with her out. XD

An e-mail I got from Joanne today:

"Anyone who has ever dressed a child will love this one!

Did you hear about the Texas teacher who was helping one of her kindergarten students (CURTIS) put on his cowboy boots?

He asked for help and she could see why. Even with her pulling and him pushing, the little boots still didn't want to go on. Finally, when the second boot was on, she had worked up a sweat. She almost cried when the little boy said, "Teacher, they're on the wrong feet." She looked down and sure enough, they were.

It wasn't any easier pulling the boots off than it was putting them on. She managed to keep her cool as together they worked to get the boots back on--this time on the right feet. He then announced, "These aren't my boots."

She bit her tongue rather than get right in his face and scream, "Why didn't you say so?" like she wanted to. And, once again, she struggled to help him pull the ill-fitting boots off his little feet. No sooner they got the boots off and he said, "They're my brother's boots. My mom made me wear 'em."

Now she didn't know if she should laugh or cry. But, she mustered up the grace and courage she had left to wrestle the boots on his feet again.

Helping him into his coat, she asked, "Now where are your mittens?" CURTIS said, "I stuffed 'em in the toes of my boots."

Her trial starts next month.

I finished a pictie. I sort of like it, yet am sort of wondering if I could've fixed some things, but I don't care because I'm tired. ^^; So off I go, yes. Good niiiiiiiight.

I can't wait until the weekend. I wanna buy those books. If we go to the house. Heh, if not, I guess I can head into Manhattan...

I really should try to fix them. XD;; Maybe I'll upload a better one tomorrow. I don't feel like loading Photoshop again, it takes forever. I really need a faster computer, or more space on my drive... or both... ^^

Oh, yes. And Dad came in today and immediately said "So how's my faaaaaaavorite daughter?" XDDD Okay, bed. Hee.
