Mom just came home with the LotR: TTT gift set. XD I love that Gollum figurine, it's cool. I'm going to rip into this thing when I get back from picking Craig up. This WILL be watched this weekend, heh.
WHY is DA still down?! >_< *deathglares* A few minutes has turned into FOUR HOURS! Update your message or something, folks. People complain about LJ going down, but at least they say something when it's gonna take hours at a time...
I like this icon. Is silly.

Nov. 18th, 2003 04:58 pmFirst art assignment: B+. Looking at the original drawing and mine, and what Roger (my instructor) circled, I could have done a little better. But he's still very happy with my drawing. ^_^ I knew something was off near the high jumper's head when I drew it... but I couldn't pinpoint it, and as much as I tried to fix it, it still didn't look right. He circled that, though, and her hand... I see exactly what I did wrong now. Her head's too big. XD And her hand isn't very detailed, but I'm horrible with hands.
They were right about the letters from instructors, though--this one's definitely motivated me. Roger's told me what I can work on without being an ass, something I've been worried about in terms of art teachers...
Speaking of all this, I need to work on Lesson 2. XD;
