Oh my god XD
Nov. 19th, 2003 05:35 pmI just walked past a grocery list Mom had on the door. Her handwriting is very big and loopy... and "pies" looked like "pus". XDDDD I had to do a triple-take.
People annoyed me at work today, but only two of them. Dorothy wanted me to see what was wrong with the printer, which I'm not really supposed to do, because I work the copier. Not the printer. But it only needed some more paper, so I got some paper and put it in. What does Dorothy do? She repeatedly takes the stupid thing online and offline, even though I told her, "No, that takes it offline." She does it again. She finally stops, only to have to go back to her computer and resend the print command because she sent the printer offline. Never mind everyone else who was supposed to be printing something. -_-
And then Yulia came over and told me she needed me to copy some files for her. Not a problem. Four copies. Still not a problem. But I made sure she said four copies. I asked her at least three times, "You want four copies, right?" And she said "Yes." So I made her the copies, and she immediately asks me why the people she's sending the files to need so many copies. And I'm thinking, You said I needed to make FOUR COPIES, you 'hole. 9_9 *kills herself*
I'm home, hee. Tomorrow's Thursday, which means I have company. The day after is Friday, which is easily the best day of the week. Happy happy.

Nov. 19th, 2003 10:43 pmI swear, gridding is the most tedious thing I have EVER done. Definitely pays off, but it just seems so damned tedious. I had to figure out how big to make the grid in the first place, then draw it over the image I was going to use as a subject, then redraw it on the assignment page, only to reread the instructions and see that the drawing had to fill the entire page, which meant erasing the grid and REgridding the damned thing. And it wouldn't have been as bad as it was if I didn't decide to make my grid 10x8. The plastic grid they gave me doesn't go to 8. It goes to 7 and a freaking half. Much measuring and remeasuring after that. -_-
I did a damn good second art assignment, though. I'm going to use the other sheet tomorrow and do another pic, and take the best one, but the one I did was damn good.
Excuse me, I'm pleased with myself. ^^; I think I'll go crash now. I'll talk to people tomorrow. I've earned sleep, hehe.
