Jul. 31st, 2004 08:27 pmWe'd lost power. There was a huge thunderstorm, but we were in Scranton when it hit, and when we got home, there was nothing.
But it's back, and I have new games to play! XD I bought a few things... (This is my spending spree for the next month, by the way... I just haven't spent a lot on myself in a while, and I'm feeling a little better now that I got a bit of a raise, hehe.) I'm about to play Kingdom Hearts, because I was told recently that the battle system is NOT that of a typical RPG. That was the whole reason I wouldn't touch the game... I talked to a girl in Best Buy, though (and I could tell she's very passionate about the game XD;;), and she said it's only an RPG in the sense that you can level up and upgrade weapons and go on side quests. The battle system's Zelda-type.
So yeah, bought that upon the end of that conversation.
Got Panzer Dragoon Orta because I'd been curious about it since Dean sent me a 40-second commercial of it a year or two ago. Got Pokemon Puzzle League because it was cheap and I miss the 3D puzzle. Got Bump 'n' Jump for the NES because I haven't played it in YEARS, and if I ever find all the plugs to get my Nintendo working again, I am so playing that.
And got Rebel Strike for Craig. ^_^ Also got him $20 worth of YGO! cards... so I have about $40 being returned to me from Dad, since Craig didn't have his money with him and Dad's holding onto it.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've been kept away from my games long enough. XD
