meitantei_cj: (Don't know what you're talking about.)
Have a headache. Hopefully work won't annoy me.
meitantei_cj: (I love having friends like you ^_^)
Had a little outburst yesterday (though I guess it really can't be considered an outburst...) that a lot of you guys didn't see. Specific people did for a very specific reason: They don't know the person/people involved. (Well, and I trust them. A lot.) I figured, that way, there aren't any problems. Not that I mentioned the people by name or anything: I was very good about not mentioning names. I've seen people post publically about things when others know exactly who they're talking about, and it causes a lot of trouble... and I don't want trouble for anyone. I'm not feeling vindictive or bitter, and I don't want to somehow pass those feelings on. And I'll probably never use that specific filter again, but it had to be used this time. I just needed to vent semi-publically. Sometimes having it private isn't satisfying enough, or something.

But now that I've gotten it out of the way, and had a day to deal with myself and my retarded emotions, I'm fine now. Tas wasn't at work, and no one really bothered me too much, so I was able to sit around. Didn't draw at all, but I started writing a bit. Listened to my music, finally ate something at noon (I hadn't eaten since about three yesterday... it was an early dinner... and the urge to nibble on Oreos struck me last night, but someone--I think Marcia--ate the last of them, and I didn't feel like anything else), and the day didn't move as slowly as it seemed to. (I wasn't going to eat at all, really. But then I started smelling Pizza Hut and tasting fried shrimp while still sitting at my desk. Needless to say, I was going to drive myself crazy if I didn't get something.)

I left Mom a question about my situation on the noteboard we have on the fridge, and she called me about it. She gave me some very sound advice, too. I guess all I really needed was a day to think and some wise words from her.

So, I'm fine. Ignore my previous, mostly-hidden, up-to-the-minute apathy toward the world. I'm fine, I'm over it, and I'm still going to visit... because like we agreed, it's been way too long.

EDIT: Mom ate the Oreos. I should be evil and not show her how to find her WMP files and burn them through Roxio. But she'll probably pick up a bag of Oreos tomorrow, so I guess it's okay. Stupid chocolate craving.

And we have real cookies in the fridge. All I have to do is get off my lazy butt and turn on the oven. ^^; Anyway, pizza time.

Got GetBackers 5. Let me just say right now, Ginji is the most adorable thing ever (... besides Kazuki X3). And he doesn't even try to be. He just is. It's those eyes. I want one... at least a tare for my bedroom. ^^;

And I'm looking over Fanart Central, because KT's double (XD) is there. They have a Wall of Shame. I'm looking over it... they have the username of the idiots art thieves, their e-mail addresses, and the reason they're listed. I'm amused at how many names have numbers or underscores in them.

A couple people stole from Seby and Bara-chan. They're super well-known, you just don't do that and expect no one to notice. 9_9

Watching the Billboard Music Awards and trying to draw a pictie. Billboard is boring me to tears. Watched mostly to watch Gwen Stefani perform (and if there's one album I'd get for one song, it'd be Love, Angel, Music, Baby for What You Waiting For?). Now that she's performed, I'm bored. ^^;

I want ice cream, but it's almost ten... I don't know if I should bother.
meitantei_cj: (I don't understand...)
Some building's board (of directors, I take it) removed a redtail hawk's nest in Manhattan... and apparently a few people complained about the hawk (not many, though... from what I saw, the majority of the people there loved him) leaving bird droppings and pigeon carcasses on the sidewalk below his perch.

...

He's a hawk. What are you proposing people should do, teach him to throw his leftover dinner in the trash like a good human? Oh, and you can build him a toilet while you're at it! How about give him some training pants?

According to WB11, he's bringing twigs back to the site, meaning he's starting to rebuild his nest. I hope he does. He's been there for years... more than ten, if I heard correctly. I would love to head down there one day and take pictures of him... and perhaps invite him over here to take care of our pigeon problem. He'd have a feast fit for a king.

Really need to see if I can complain about the pigeons here, too. It's really interfering with my quality of life, here. And if anything from a bird hits me on the head, the shit will hit the fan, thank you. Our board won't bring in hawks/falcons because one jackass is afraid they'll carry someone's kid off. ¬_¬
