omg, teh weathar.

It was raining today. When I left (a tad early X3;;; I couldn't take it anymore, I had to get out), it was barely even drizzling. I decided not to bring my umbrella since I didn't want to forget to bring it back to the office and really need it.

WHAT a difference 15 minutes makes.

I was walking up the stairs, exiting my station, and saw a girl put her umbrella up. Cue uneasy feeling in pit of stomach.

It was pouring. I ended up having to walk home in that mess, wind throwing rain into my face, so much that once I finally got into the elevator and pulled off my hood, my bangs were literally dripping wet. ^^;;;

Tas will be in tomorrow, so IRS for me! I'm hoping she'll call me at some point and tell me I can leave early, like she did last New Year's Eve. I'm taking the train tomorrow, and it would be sweet to leave early enough to catch the 4:50. With the bus it doesn't matter since I'll still be getting the same one, but I have three choices with the train... and I want the earliest, hee.

Oh my god. Half-watching Will & Grace. It's the episode with Karen getting married in Vegas.

They just started doing the chicken dance, and all I can think about is "The Return of Ganondorf" on this site. Ganondorf doing the chicken dance is absolutely priceless.

In five hours, my download of DC 8 has gotten through roughly 12%. It's now at 88.6%, up from 77% this morning. My download rate keeps fluctuating and it's usually dismal...

Won't be done by morning, I don't think... maybe I'll leave the computer on overnight again. It's been locking up, which I know for a fact it did not do before those people got their hands on it. I used to be able to leave it on overnight, and I'd lose the internet connection after some hours and have to restart to get it back, but the computer would still be functional. This thing, the screen shuts off (which it's supposed to do), and at some point during the night, it just stops working. It forces me to shut down manually, which I hate doing. I always worry it'll mess up. It never does, though. I've made sure it's not set to standby or anything, but maybe it's standing by on its own, and having trouble coming out of it...

I can't be sure, because I'm not sure if I've left the thing online overnight after getting the laptop back. I don't think I have... which leads me to believe that something having to do with its current state is the reason for its locking up overnight. Gods, I wish we'd taken pictures of this thing before we gave it to them. I would have a new laptop or this one would be totally fixed by now. Idiots. >_>

Clone!kitty!! O_O It's so cute! I want another cat... Give me another Smokey, I'll be the happiest girl in the world. ;_;

And can we please just let priests get married? I'm sick of hearing about all the kids getting abused. I don't care who you are or how religious you are, there's no way you can overcome the fact that you're human and you have needs, and there's no way those needs should involve children, thankyouverymuch. Quit lying to yourselves. 9_9

... 89.1%. I guess I'll leave it on. Hopefully it'll be done in the morning... but maybe I'll restart first.
