Wouldn't you know it?

I decided halfway through last month that I wouldn't charge any time this month. I would be good, I would have my first month of perfect attendance (a few times I've missed one day), I would deal with the job.

So what happens? The allergies turn out NOT to be allergies. The allergies are a full-blown cold. The full-blown cold might possibly be the flu, because I feel exactly the same way I did last year in February. Pressure in the head, freezing cold even though I'm sure it's warm in here, stuffed-up nose, coughing, sneezing, achy eyes, lack of balance when I stand up.

SO not happy. Finally decide to deal, and this happens. I've been up for the past two hours, so I doubt I'm going in today. Walking to the train station, down into it, and back out once I get to my stop will involve way too much exertion, and I've been so dizzy, I think I'd fall down the stairs. >_> Going to ask Mom if she's going to come home on Friday before heading up to the house. There's a chance I won't be going in that day either, so I can go up with her.

The fever's gone. o_o I think I sweated it out. Still staying home, though. I don't think I could make it to work.

Might I just say that Windows Media Player is piece of SHIT and thinks it's way smarter than it actually is.

I just went through ripping the tracks off the H2G2 radio drama CDs (six CDs in all--have to do another three because I just got the third series). WMP kept moving the files around. I put them in specific folders labelled specifically for what series and which CD they were from.

So I start ripping the third series, and go to rename the folder to state that it's the first CD in the third series, and I'm missing a folder. It looks like it took the third CD in the first series and the second CD in the third series and put them in the same damn folder. Dipshit program.

And Mom wonders why I don't use it. Winamp rips a little stupidly at times, but I should've just stuck with that. So yay, nine CDs for me to rip, six of them reripped. 9_9

XDDD These CDs are seriously the best things I've bought all year.
