Migration of baby crows.
Aug. 27th, 2005 08:44 amIn our backyard. Nothing but hundreds of small, black birds, shooting through the trees, picking at the ground--thankfully not making any noise--and finally moving on to Eddie and Joanne's house next door. Never seen something like that before. XD;
This after seeing a woodpecker and wanting to take a picture of it, and having both my parents tell me, "Forget the camera--get something with a scope." I keep forgetting woodpeckers damage trees. It's a thin tree, but it'll still cause damage to the house if it falls on us.
I'm curious about that garden spider from last week, and whether or not it's still on its web, hee. Think I'll go see later. Dare I say it, I think I actually LIKE the thing. CJ, liking a spider. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's just... pretty, or something. Like, it's not a normal spider. It has a design to it. (And the zigzag web it weaves is awesome. XD) I'll bring my camera out and see if I can get good shots of it.
Craig and Matt are still asleep. I was supposed to wake Craig up as soon as I got up, but I think I'll let it wait for a while. There's no rush. Eddie is the one that said Matt could spend the night, no Joanne, so he didn't say anything about Matt coming home first thing in the morning.
