Jun. 8th, 2006 05:24 pm... is what went through both my head and Tas's when said Section Head came in at around 1:30 today. I'd been reading Winner Takes All (Doctor Who book, very entertaining and therefore had about 85% of my attention while I sat at my desk), and Tas had been on the phone with Claudette. Both of us promptly finished what we were doing and pretended to do WORK.
Oh, and I got seven bucks for doing Paul's work. XD He didn't want to go through assigning cases to his new team members on ACMS (which is the slowest program we have to deal with at the job), so he showed me what to do (not that he had to, I know how to assign/unassign/transfer cases) and put me to it. And yes, he paid me. I spent the next couple minutes wondering if it was right to take the money. XD;; He seemed genuinely happy to get out of it. Lazy man, that one.
The kids are here!... and I do not want to go to work tomorrow. -_-
I need to finish the book. Very funny. I like The Stealers of Dreams for the story/plot, but this one for the humor and pacing.
