Job interview for the position in TCD next Tuesday morning. Tell me why that gave me heart palpitations.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Still, my heart's been going crazy since I opened that e-mail. Anxiety already? What the hell am I gonna do if I actually GET the damn job?
I think I'm anxious because more will be expected of me. And I can do it. The job'll probably be a behind-the-scenes thing, too. Only thing is, it'll be more phone work. But I'll get used to it. I was really nervous about using phones for THIS job, and I've gotten... acceptable. ^^;
I'm going to be blunt with them when I go. Tas has been a very lenient boss, and I want to know how things operate down there. I want to know if it's okay to do the 8:30 - 4:45 thing I do now. I want to know if jeans are all right to wear occasionally. I want to know if I'm allowed to have music playing while I work--not loud, but there. I'm tempted to ask if my boss(es) will expect me to run round the clock like Brian does, but I won't.
I know nothing of them. There's three of them, I think. Richard Center, Jose Gonzalez, and Anil Patel. I've seen two of those names various times. As far as I know, I've never actually these men at all. TCD and Audit are two totally different animals. We're all Tax Department, but we never see each other.
And I got another canvass letter for the Attorney General's office, this time in Harlem. Not gonna happen, methinks. Too far. Not too far to travel to/from home, but too far to travel when I'm heading to the Port Authority. I don't trust the trains to get me there in time to get my ticket and get to the line. They've also given me a list of duties I'd have to carry out, and... nah. Naaaaah. I think in this case, I'd rather stay with Tax. That's right, CJ would rather stay in Tax than go to the Office of the Attorney General. Hell hath freezeth over.
Wishing today was next week. I want the next Who. ;_; I've been watching the first season again. Nine is the biggest dork, I swear. Dorky heroes are the best.
Wonder if I'd be able to find the seasons with Four in them... although watching them backwards'll be weird. You're not supposed to go backwards. Visuals and sounds are supposed to get better, not worse. ^^;;
