(no subject)

Going to the doctor tomorrow for chest pain, if I can get an appointment. If I can't see Dr. Toyloy, I'll see someone else. I had it last night, and it came back near the end of the day at work while I was dealing with this imbecile that called my phone at least twenty times because she was unwilling to accept the help I was giving her, and it hasn't gone away. I fell asleep at seven and slept for an hour and a half. I'm entirely too tense right now.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Dr. Toyloy says I have an acid reflux condition that's been aggravated by stress. So in a way, both Mom and I were right. (She thought it might be gas.) I've been ordered to stay away from fried foods, tomatoes (which I don't like anyway, unless they're in a sauce on pizza or spaghetti), and broccoli (which I don't eat often). I can have salads and baked foods, but no fast food.

Which killed my original plan for lunch, which was to grab a few White Castle hamburgers since I was in the area. I didn't feel like salad and didn't really want anything else, so I settled for a sandwich from Subway, which was extremely overpriced. I need to start getting my sandwiches elsewhere. Like, outside Manhattan.

My stomach's still feeling stupid and I'm cold and a little shaky. I probably have to stay away from scrambled eggs and bacon, too. -_- I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Since I've gotten here, I haven't really eaten well. I haven't cared. I've cared, but not enough to actively do something about it, I suppose.

Well, I missed the brunch we had today, which is good. I wasn't in the mood to be social. Still not. Thankfully several people are scheduled to be in a meeting for the next two hours.

Oh GOD.

The same woman from yesterday just called back. I transferred her. So far she hasn't called me again.

Good gods. The person who sent her the letter's a dope for not explaining it, especially if he wasn't going to be in TO explain it (which seems like the case), and she's a dope for once again calling me when I can't do a thing to help her.

I get the biggest morons calling here. It happens too rarely that I get someone who knows exactly who they want to talk to.

Two days.

Got my new camera. I like.

I think this one's a keeper. Has lots of settings and functions, nice detail, and I took a picture of one of the posters on my wall while purposely letting my hand move around, and the picture came out well. The flash is bright, too, brighter than the one on my other camera. I'll give Craig my old one. He's been wanting to start taking pictures anyway.

Going to bed. I had cereal for dinner. 9_9 Was going to make myself something easy--grilled cheese--but our refrigerator's stupid and the stuff molded. It hadn't even been in there long. So, Frosted Flakes. Not eating fried foods is going to be VERY annoying. But anyway, I'm exhausted.

Think if the snow's really bad tomorrow, a bunch of people will stay home?
