Wow, wonderful people.
Oct. 25th, 2007 10:35 amThere's a meeting in the two conference rooms on the other side, and there are usually a lot of people at this particular meeting. Kwesi pulled me into his office to tell me to tell THEM to put tables between the ones already set up instead of moving them and screwing with the setup of the two rooms. A, he had me make signs for each room on Monday saying that if the setup is disturbed, put things back the way they were. B, why the HELL did I have to go into his office for that? 9_9
So anyway, I went over there to see if they'd need the extra two tables. Not everyone had gotten there yet, but I was told they usually have lots of people, so I put up one table with the help of one of the women. As I was looking for another table, more people were coming in. I found a couple more tables propped up against the wall behind stacks of chairs, and had to move the chairs to get to the tables. The way those chairs stack, you can't just move them, or they'll tip forward and fall, so I struggled with that for about five minutes before I was able to move enough out of the way to get a table. Then I had to actually stand the table up. And not a single person helped. I got "help" as I was lifting the table off the floor to stand it up, by the woman sitting at the first table I'd erected in front of me, and all she did was lean over her table and make a very half-assed attempt at pulling it up, which I'd already done on my own by that point.
Yeah, okay. Won't be doing that again. They can get their own tables. 9_9
My head is BANGING. Eye's not as irritated now, but the headache is just going boom, boom, boom. Made an appointment to see Dr. Chow. Would've seen Dr. Toyloy, but she's booked. (The guy said he could squeeze me in at either 11:45 or 12:45, but I was really trying to go after work.) I have a feeling things might move quicker with Dr. Chow. I don't want to get there and sit for an hour or so. I think Dr. Toyloy got all the patients that had to switch doctors when Dr. Valdes left. I miss Dr. Valdes. -_-
Meh. I have floating holiday time that needs to be used before Election Day, anyway. Might as well use it on a doctor's appointment.
