I bought lottery things today, including five $500 a week for life scratch-offs, just because. (They're only a buck, so I don't cry if I lose like I would with some other games.) As I started scratching, I thought to myself, "I'll be happy if I get two dollars out of it." Guess what I won? And on the very last ticket I scratched, too. XD The question now is do I take that $2 and put it right back toward two more of those games? I don't need $10,000 a week for life. (Although, I must admit, the guy that won it is a very lucky bastard. That is life-changing stuff there.)

I've had a headache for a while now, and I need to get rid of it, because there's an hour-long meeting coming up soon. (Kwesi walks by my desk to go to another meeting, then comes back and goes, "There's a two-o'clock meeting..." "Multiple PIDs." "Right, Multiple PIDs. Are you attending?" "Yeah." "Good, I'd like you to attend." Mind you, this is Joseph's meeting and I accepted it six days ago, and it is possible for Kwesi to see that I accepted it. Although, most of the time he accepts things and doesn't go to them, so maybe he thinks I'm the same way. ^^;) At least it's just an hour. It'll be 3pm when we get out, and after that it's just a matter of waiting for the end of the day. Then tomorrow and Thursday I have classes on Access and Word. Ugh. -_-

Anyway. Going to do something that doesn't require screen-watching.

I have no idea what I got singled out for in that meeting, but apparently I took a mental vacation for a few seconds and only came back when Kwesi went "Christina", like "Oh, we can have her do that." I have no idea what it was. Joseph was kind of teasing me about it afterwards, saying I probably want to stab Kwesi in the neck with a pen now. XD; I guess I'll find out when I'm told? Funny thing is, I was more alert in that meeting than I've ever been in any other meeting. I imagine it's because it was a somewhat new topic, and I expect that alertness to drop significantly, because Joseph's said it's going to be a weekly meeting. Methinks that just killed it. Then again, I kind of had a feeling it was going to be a recurring meeting when I saw "workgroup" in the meeting's title. You don't have a workgroup that meets once.

My right eye was/is acting stupid again, throbbing and aching somewhere in the eye, not around it. This is what it was doing before. I took Ibuprofen before, about two hours ago, so I don't want to take anything else just yet. I'd just end up taking a dose of Excedrin, and chances are all I need to do is get away from this office and its brightness. I don't want to take Excedrin if it's not a migraine, and I'm honestly not sure what it is at this point. I don't think my head hurts. I think it's just the eye. Mom sounded wary when she just called and I told her, and I know she'll start asking about the doctor again, but it'll end up being a wasted visit. That's what it was the two or three times I went before. I'm slightly nearsighted, but that's in the left eye. Maybe the right's trying to accomodate.

Methinks I'll start tagging that, too. ^^; It would be good to keep track of the eye issue.

EDIT: Okay, Fofie just called regarding something, it didn't make a whole lot of sense, and when I got off the phone, my head did this thing. Leaning toward migraine now. Just... a very low-key migraine. Or just tension headache, but I haven't felt any tension all day.

Spoilers for tonight if anyone watches, but I already posted this link before.

Okay, I haven't really been paying attention (which is what happens when you find Brawndo: The Thirst Mutilator), but at least two people from this list have been on tonight's show. I almost missed David Archuleta. Seriously, after the audition shows, I'm not watching anymore. I'm sure there have been instances on the show where people were allowed to audition/make it through to the next round because of their connections, but when you run a show based on the premise that you're discovering UNDISCOVERED talent, and you pull in someone who already had an album out, you're killing it. By the very definition of that show, Carly Hennessy should not be there. She put out a CD years ago. It only sold 300 copies, but she put out a CD. And she was supposed to be on the show in season five--still after her album had come and gone--and got kicked off because she didn't have her visa yet.

If they changed the show's premise to fit the plants they're going to put in, it'd be fine. I wouldn't mind because they'd be honest about what it is they're doing, and the plants wouldn't really be plants, either. -_- I know the show is a marketing vehicle, but come on...

Waiting for Jermaine Paul to show up. Unless he already has. Like I said, I haven't been paying attention. 9_9

Hopefully this'll be the last year. Maybe the ratings will suck so hard they just can it.
