All right, I've been more or less ignoring the internet for the past few days, so I need to go through and read everything/respond to everything.

Talked with Dona and Maureen about work and life and what I want to do/should do. May go back to therapy, but I'm staying off the Cymbalta. I still need to have someone to talk to. In the meantime, I think I've gotten my art bug back thanks to the photo reference book/DVD combos I've been buying. I just got another one today. LOTS of reference photos. Going to sit tonight and doodle.

And the New York Post strikes again! That's why we haven't ever bought the Post. That's why, even if the guy at the newstand Mom sees every night offers to give her the paper free, she won't take it. You do not compare a monkey to a black man, people. And maybe Delonas did mean Congress when he mentioned the writer of the stimulus package, but who's the first person you think of when you think of the package? All right then.

Idiot. Then again, it WAS printed in the Post.

The day was fine, everything was nice and quiet, and then Miss Dumber Than She Thinks She Is sent me this at 3:52pm:

Hi Christina,
I booked a meeting for Pat Lewis on March 5 since December 1 of 2008.  When I was updating the calendars today, I saw that a meeting was scheduled on top of my meeting.  I can not cancel this meeting with Pat due to the fact that it is a video conference.  Please make arrangements for your video conference on this day.  When you schedule a meeting the computer informs you when your meeting conflicts with another.  Please be cautious of this.  This has posed a lot of issues for us in the past, and we are trying our best to avoid conflicts with meetings.

I promptly told Dona I was going to kick Keesha's ass (Dona said "Christina! That doesn't sound like you!" because I hardly ever "curse" at work), then I replied with:

Hi Keesha,
Which meeting posed a conflict? I notice the Field Support Leads Meeting isn’t on the calendar at 10am on March 5th, and that meeting has been scheduled since March of 2008. It’s a teleconference (no video) that I put in room 2350 because of the VR meetings that take place at the same time and also need a spider phone.

Mind you, you can see how long a meeting has been scheduled. When you open the meeting, it tells you the effective date of the meeting. Either she didn't bother looking at it because she wanted the room and screw everyone else, or she did look at it and thought I'd be too stupid to know what I did. I actually hung around a few minutes after 4pm to see if I'd get a response from her. I got one from Yessenia instead:

Since you do not need the use of video conference you can use rooms 2450  or 2411 which have a spyder phone.  The meeting was not there when I checked the calendar.  Keesha removed the meeting so the video-conference could be booked.  Please let me know if you want to use 2450 or 2411 which both have spyder phones its only a question of how many people are attending.

First of all, there are two rooms on the 24th floor with videoconferencing ability and the meeting should have been booked up there, since I already had the room. If the other two rooms aren't available and I had to be bumped out, I'd appreciate it if I could be told that without Miss Bitch acting like she had dibs, and telling me to be careful how I schedule things. I scheduled my meeting a year ago, she scheduled HERS two months ago, and I will kick her ass if she tries to pull that kind of attitude with me again.

According to Joseph, she has a crush on him and thinks he and I have a thing going on (he's married with two teenagers, by the way). He plays it up because it's amusing to him. If her attitude has to do with that, she's gonna have to be set straight.
