Fofie strikes again.
Apr. 28th, 2009 10:12 am"The copier doesn't have staples in it," she says.
I go over to check, but she's currently printing 40 copies of what's likely a booklet of PowerPoint slides, and opening the staple compartment jams the job, so I remove the jams and start it up again. Her copies are all coming out unstapled and uncolated, so it's one big mass of BLAH. (Luis called it a Bible. I was amused.)
She comes back over to ask me if I checked on the staples, I tell her it's still going, she comes back a few minutes later to say it's done. I check the compartment, and sure enough, there's a full cartridge in there.
Thing is, if she had actually set the thing to staple like she said she did, it would've BEEN stapling, and would've paused the job if it ran out of staples. It never did staple. And I just checked it with my own document and printed exactly the way she should have--double-sided, stapled. It worked.
She's really not very bright and should be VERY happy her brother-in-law is her boss. And if she comes over here with theBible stack of paper and tells me to staple it, I'm taking as much time as I want doing it.
