Art class...
Sep. 23rd, 2009 09:58 pmGot there only twenty minutes early today, but that's because I skipped work (and if the boss has anything to say about it, he can kiss off, because I was crampy and totally sour and did NOT feel like dealing with idiots today... I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to get back on the generic Seasonale, as expensive as it is). Did well on my assignments. Never mind all that.
During the 15-minute break, I went down to the cafeteria to get something to drink (a bottle of Pepsi, which I'm sure I'll regret, but I wanted something sweet), and once I came back upstairs, looked at some of the student artwork that had been posted from a Life Drawing class. (They had to draw what looked like a trenchcoat, in charcoal.) Really nice stuff. One of the guys in my class came over and asked which one I liked. We got into a little conversation and kept looking at each other's artwork throughout the rest of class. Then we walked to the train together and talked until I got off at Broadway.
He has a girlfriend, though. I sob. XD;;
But his name is Amir, and he's cute. (One of those guys with hair you want to run your fingers through. And pretty eyes. XDDD) At one point he asked me what kinds of things I draw and if I had a sketchbook with some art in it with me, then said I should bring it next time, and I swear he winked, haha. I'll have my sketchbook next week, so we'll see what he thinks. ^^;; I told him my art's anime-inspired to warn him, but he didn't seem to mind, so that's a plus.
It's been a long time since I've had someone just walk up and start chatting, though. It's weird. I feel so socially inept. XD;
Dog wants playtime, so off I go.
